Winter or summer, Habitat Sports has the gear for you not matter what your sport is.  Whether it's hacky sack at the beach or touch at the park, to one of Westport's many team sports - soccer, hockey, netball, basketball, rugby, 7s or touch - we have you covered.

Hockey

Westport's Hockey turf was new (2014) and getting lots of use. If you need Sticks, mouth guards shin pads or even Goalie kit we can help. We will help you get the right stick, and show your child a few tricks to make learning lots of fun.

Boxing and Fitness

Working out at home means you can do it any time of day and its privet, you will find a full range of weights, Swiss balls, boxing gloves and bags at Habitat Sports. We order in Treadmills, spin bikes and weight benches - and at the same price as out of town stores with out the drive to the city. 

Running Shoes

You will need sturdy footwear to keep you comfortable and safe. Salomon footwear is known to fit right out of the box. They have invested in the research and technology it takes to provide a precise, comfortable fit, specific to the individual man or woman, if you road run or trail we have you covered.

Ball Sports

We have a great range of balls, sticks and safety gear (including, head gear, mouth guards, hockey goalie kits) and team uniforms. We have netball and basketballs hoops, nets and ball bags to practice at home.

Racquet Sports

Westport has both tennis and squash clubs.  If you haven't already tried it, squash is a great sport all year round, with courts for the casual player at Westport's Solid Energy Centre.

Habitat Sports are the exclusive stockists of Prince Squash and tennis racquets in Westport.  We also have Black Knight available. If we don’t have the right racket for you we will order it.
